Thought I’d take a look at The DioField Chronicle Steam demo, which is Square Enix’s new strategy RPG. First impressions are about what I expected, but I’m not yet far enough into the demo to render any kind of judgment on the gameplay (this post will be updated at a later time). I will note, however, that the narrative storytelling and voice acting seems to be surprisingly good during the cut scenes. Excellent art style. Here’s an example of the artwork.
